ABOUT US
The Shop by Calhoun & Co. is a gift and home decor shop in Williamsburg Brooklyn. The shop selection is curated by Brooklyn based brand Calhoun & Co. and offers a playful, colorful, and cozy atmosphere. Our gift & product categories include; baby, kids, men, women, stationery, throw blankets, decorative pillows, candles, kitchen & tabletop, tote bags, graphic tees & sweatshirts and so much more.
We aim for our shop to be a welcoming, friendly space that is part of our community.
Calhoun & Co. is a gift & home décor line with the goal of bringing a smile to your face, and the favorite faces in your life. The name Calhoun & Co. - comes from the street I (Kerry) grew up on in the Northeast. The street name brings to me memories of growing up on a cul-de-sac filled with kids my age - bopping from one house to the next, playing kickball in the street, and camping out in our own back yards. It was the first community I was ever a part of - and its name has carried onto the community in Brooklyn that I have been a part of since around 2010.
Our products are designed with a little bit of humor, cozy weekend vibes, and the intention of spreading a little more kindness into the world. We have fun with our work and believe gift-giving should be an enjoyable experience. Our inspiration comes from community, friendly faces, interesting places, and spending Saturday morning cozied up with a cup of coffee and our dog, Slug. Your home is the space you spend time with those nearest & dearest to you, and we believe that space should reflect you and have the personality you want it to have — we've chosen to have fun with ours.
Our designs are created from illustrations and artwork by founder Kerry Stokes, mom to two little humans & one fur-tween, lover of travel, anything tiki-tropical, inspired by insects and mother nature.
